Because Zhao Wei has had some experienced with the game, having played it before on a certain show in Hong Kong before, she was not at all embrassed. What was funny was that it was Yupen who felt a bit awkward, almost kissing in front of hundreds of screaming fans, cheering them on.

Later on, the host of the promotion asked Yupen and Vicki to tangle for them. Once again, the two went along with the fans' wishes, and tangled; remarkedbly well, especially as they had not practiced it. At the end of the dance, Vicki managed a graceful dip in the arms of a laughing Yupen before the two bowed a thank you.

When asked about whether they were worried about the serie's rating, both Yupen and Vicki announced that they have confident in Qiong Yao's new work.

Though the opposing TV channel also held a promotion that same day, one could see the popularity difference of ATV Hidden Tiger to that of QSSYMM was that of a kitten to a tiger. Anyone could see that QSSYMM was by far the more popular.

5/27/2001-Vicki and Alec wins the competition

Qiong Yau's latest serial, Qing Shen Shen, Yu Meng Meng (QSSYMM), translated as Deep Love and Misty Rain, will be aired at 7.30pm at Hong Kong's TVB channel, which shall be directly challenging ATV's new serie, "Hidden Tigers." Thus the celebraties of the seriess all came to do publicity and compete with each other in the hope of raising the ratings for their own shows. And without say, of course Vicki and Alec stole the limelight.

While promoting, Vicki and Alec played a game, passing the paper with your lips. Vicki had to suck the paper tightly, so as to prevent the paper from falling. With the paper on her lips, she had to pass it to Alec using her lips, and him, with his lips.

Someone remarked that this is unhealthy for kids to watch, but Vicki thinks otherwise. She finds that since it is a game, the public will not be so serious about the matter. Vicki and Alec shared a kiss that is separated by a thin small sheet of paper.(what a waste!!!)[Sharing a "Qing Shen" = "deep love" kiss on stage]

It was said that earlier on, Ruby had a dispute with Qiong Yau. But Alec says it was just rumors because both are famous people, and that the little misunderstanding has now been cleared up between the two parties. He adds that he will be once again film My Fair Princess III, entitled "Legend of Fifth Prince" with Vicki.

5/27/01- Qiong Yau feels that Ruby is ungrateful Alec: Both has settled the misunderstanding.

Alec flew to HK on the 27th for a day to participate in the publicity work of Deep Love Misty Rain with Vicki. When being interviewed, he explains that the misunderstanding between Qiong Yau and Ruby has been resolved. He hopes that Ruby would be able to take precious time to spend with Qiong Yau so as to minimise misunderstandings in the future.

Alec has confirmed that he would participate in the filming of Qiong Yau's "My Fair Princess III" entitled Earthly Realm in Heaven. He would once again be the 5th prince, and follow up with the romance with Little Swallow, portrayed by Vicki. Storyline would continue venturing from the part where Little Swallow is still unsure of her identity and misunderstandings occur with the emperor. But this time round, Little Swallow will die at the age of 25, but Qiong Yao is undecided whether to leave her death is as a real death, or to leave it a mystery.

When asked if Vicki and Ruby would be able to participate in the filming of My Fair Princess III, Alec replied that it would have to depend on the fans of both Ruby and Vicki, and whether they can tolerate each other's idols, and stop all the offensive and web-war that they have caused recently, resulting with the shut down of the web page.

[I'm appealing to all Vicki and Ruby's fans not to make offensive and inconstructive remarks of each other's idols, as this would upset both celebraties if this war continues as the relationship between is good, and if this continues part III would not be as nice as part I and II. It was very difficult to have a part III coming as a serial to continue for so long, so...please, please don't spoil it !!!] Alec will fly to Bejing on the 28th, after completing the publicity work of Deep Love Misty Rain, and will be releasing his new album in July, where there will be two cantonese songs in it to reward his fans.

5/22/2001-Qiong Yao's Words Has Been Overly Publicised!

Ruby Lin has not had much luck lately. First, she got in a car accident, then because of her saying that she acted in Qiong Yao's serie merely to show her "gratitude" which made Qiong Qio so unhappy that she claimed never to use Ruby Lin in her serie again. Yesteraday, Sue Yu Pen tried to help out old friend Ruby Lin and explained the situation a bit.

Yesterday in FuZhou,(That's my HOME town!), Yupen held a fans meeting, in which he was asked about the Qiong Yao vs Ruby Lin situation, Yupen said, "I think it was all a big misunderstanding. Qiong Yao Auntie is a person with alot of feeling. What she thinks, she tells her friends.. But when her friends' words are heard by the media, everything is publicised. In fact, for quite a number of days, Auntie has gone online to her own site to leave messages for fans, saying that both Zhao Wei and Ruby Lin are her favorites." YuPen also added that he too had been very "grateful to Qiong Yao, because of HZGG, he has gotten so many work chances."

Yupen says that in all the actresses that he has worked with, the one that he admires the most is Ruby and Zhao Wei. "They are both very talented, and have their own good points." Seeing that Yupen has tried to protect Ruby, the reporters asked her whether Ruby was alot like the type of girlfriend that he wants. YuPen quickly answers, "NO! Earlier on there were rumors that my mother especially like Ruby. But that was merely the media's over-exageration. I like the more softer/gentler girls, not too mean! But because Ruby Lin and Zhao Wei are both my good friends, we don't have a chance for further development."

As to the rumors that he did not want to act in HZGG III, YuPen replied that it was all nonsence as he was very supportive of a HZGG III plan, and has never said he was against it. "I think China is way too big! It's only when you have a chance to talk to the audience that it is totally real, for at other times, the news are changed one after the other until it has all completely changed!"

5/21/2001-Ever since QSSYMM has started broadcasting in Twaiwan on China TV channel, the reactions to the serie has been very warm, and ratings have increasingly gone sailing up, so much that, other channels have actually started to "block" out the casts of QSSYMM, especially the one playing the male lead in QSSYMM, Leo Gu.

However, Leo's reaction to the "blocking" was a suprised smile, and he added that if he wasn't so welcomed by the audienced, and wasn't helping the ratings at China TV, the other channels would not have blocked him. Therefore, blocking him was merely a symbol of his success.

5/4/2001-Qing Sen Sen, Yu Men Men is coming!

After a long wait, Hong Kong TVB company has finally decided that on May 28th this month, they were going to broadcasted the serie starring Zhao Wei, Ruby Lin, Leo Gu and Sue Yupen, Qing Sen Sen Yu Men Men, straight after the serie, "Yi Tian" is done.

4/21/2001-Ever since Huan Zhu Ge Ge, Sue Yu Pen, Zhao Wei, Ruby Lin's names has been linked together somehow, especially after Zhao Wei's breakup with her long time boyfriend, Ye Mau Xin. Everyone was concerned whether Sue Yu Pen and Zhao Wei would be together.

Last night Sue Yu Pen was at Beijing's filming place, guest starring in "Zhan Sen Fuen." When he was asked by the reporters whether there was a chance he and Zhao Wei would be together now that she had broken up with her long time boyfriend Ye, YuPen's answer was prompt, "Not a chance! Our characteristics are totally different!"

Then what abour Ruby Lin? Sue Yu Pen's answer was straightforward as usual, "We are good friends. It's more comfortable to be with Ruby!" A split second after, Yupen relized what he said might sound bad, therefore he quickly explained, "I'm not saying I'm not comfortable around Vicki. It's just that she is a bit stronger in character!"

What YuPen only wanted to say was that he was closer to Ruby, as they kept in touch often. He says, "When Ruby was in the accident, I called to ask after her. When her album sold pretty good, I would laughingly call her up again to kid to with. We would merely kid around with each other. However, with Vicki, we hardly ever keep in touch, because she changes phones so often, it's hard to find her!"

Then is there a chance for Ruby and YuPen to take a step further to become boy/girl friends? YuPen's reponse was a plea to "release" him. Then when are they going to see one another again? YuPen says, "She will come to Beijing in May to film "Chu Liu Sian," and I shall be back here at the end of May to continue filming "Zhan Sen Fuen," so we'll see each other then."

4/21/2001-Even though QSSYMM is not yet out in Mainland, China and Hong Kong, already copied versions of the QSSYMM VCDs are already out. Upon hearing this news, Qiong Yao was very angry, knowing that someone was actually selling her serie illegally online before the serie was even out elsewhere but Twaiwan. This has already happened before with her last HZGG serie also. However, this time, Qiong Yao wanted to get to the end of this, and find out who was responsible.

4/14/2001-Since the release of QSSYMM at the beggining of the week in Twaiwan, the audiences' response has been extremely welcoming. For the week, QSSYMM was the top of the rating charts of three different TVB channels, and has high hopes of going even higher.

In repsonse to the audiences' requests, TVB has decided to broadcast 2 hours of QSSYMM each day now in hope of furthering the increase of the rating.

4/10/2001- QSSYMM: Not as Good as YYMM?

Even before QSSYMM has started broadcasting in Twaiwan, the audiences has expressed their opinions about the serie online. Now, with the serie finally released, discussions regarding the serie was even more fierce than ever.

Most audiences believe that there was no way QSSYMM’s cast could be as good as the older casts of YYMM. Liu Shie Hua (actress that had acted as Yi Ping, now Vicki’s character)’s portrayal of Yi Ping was deeply rooted in everyone’s mind. Dispite the fact that many agrees that Vicki has changed from the bubbly character of Sao Yan Zi, many did beliebe that Vicki was not as strong in portraying Yi Ping as Liu Shia Hua. One fan comments that Vicki, “Lacks the strength of character that makes Yi Ping,?Another fan even went as far as to say that Vicki was “becoming more and more like Ruby Lin.?Whether that is or is not a compliment is up to the fans to decide themselves.

Qiong Yao also says that the success of this newer version of YYMM, QSSYMM, shall decide whether she will, in the future, rewrite any of her old scripts. As for whether the newer crew of QSSYMM was as good, or better than the older version YYMM, I guess that is for everyone to see it first before deciding!

4/10/2001- Because of her recent breakup with her longtime boyfriend Ye Mau Xin, Vicki was reported to be sad and rather depressed.

Sue Yu Pen, who had once publicly declared his admiration for Vicki while filming Huan Zhu Ge Ge, was recently asked whether he knew of the breakup, and would press his courtship now that she was single.

To that, YuPen’s answers were a straight forward no, “We’re only good friends now!?He also that Vicki and he could discuss many things with one another, and he felt that she was much happier now after her breakup with her boyfriend.

According to Vicki, the first factor that she asked of her future boyfriend is that he must also be a “good friend,?therefore Sue Yu Pen certainly has a good chance, so good luck YuPen!

4/10/2001- Qiong Yao: “I was most concerned for Leo Gu.?lt;P> Though the director’s worries were about Vicki, Qiong Yao knew Vicki would do just fine, from prior knowledge of her. However, when she chose Leo Gu as the male lead of QSSYMM, she says that it was a “dangerous gamble,?for even though had filmed some Hong Kong series early in his career, most of it was not striking, and didn’t reveal much of his talent.

However, as the filming continued, and she sees Leo’s involvement in the serie, Qiong Yao could finally let out a sigh of relief. Now she publicly announced that Leo Gu’s acting in QSSYMM was “superor.?

4/7/2001- Yesteraday, the cast of QSSYMM came to Hong Kong from various places to shoot the promotion clips for the serie.

Earlier on, rumors concerning Ruby Lin and Zhao Wei’s disagreement hit the papers after someone hinted of the two “struggling?to sing the theme song for QSSYMM. However, this piece of ‘news?was wordlessly cracked yesteraday as they came down from the same plane from Twaiwan, holding hands like sisters.

For the first time since QSSYMM has finished filming, the four main leads were together again as they filmed the promotion clips for the serie.

4/4/20001- Yesterday, Ruby Lin Sin Lou promptly appear to join Zhao Wei and Leo Gu at the premiere of QSSYMM as her agent promised. On her face perched an expensive Dior sunglasses which she kept on the entire time.

When asked to take the sunglasses off, Ruby rejected the request. It seens that her left eye was injured in the car accident a week ago. Her face pale, and her colors low, Ruby nevertheless smiled and chatted with old time partner Vicki Zhao, which cracked the rumors beforehand concerning that the two stars did not get along.

To clear up everyone of that idea, Ruby even went as far as to yelling to Vicki that she “loves?her to show that the two of them were as close as sisters. Vicki, who got in the spirit of the game yelled back, “I love you too!?Afraid of people possibily getting the wrong idea, Ruby immediately added, “But we’re not gay (lesbians)!?lt;P>

4/7/2001-Vicki is leaving Twaiwan for China today! Perhaps she will be back for the promotion of her new album? Who knows?!?!?

4/2/2001- Because of Ruby Lin Sin Lou's car accident on March 28th, Ruby's face was rumored to have been slightly bruised. Therefore, her agent has canceld all of Ruby's work for an entire week while she stays home and rest.

When Vicki Zhao Wi finally flew over to Twaiwan on the 39th, for the promotion of the new Qiong Yao serie, QSSYMM, Vicki claimed that she had to visit Ruby the first chance she gets. Co-partners Leo Gu and Sue YU Pen also asked after the injured Ruby, and expressed their concerns for her.

However, Ruby's absence from the promotion was noted acutely by the media, and soon rumors spread that Ruby's "abscence" was deliberate, merely an excuse made up because Ruby did not want to appear together with Vicki Zhao Wei. Fans on either side broke out in verbal fights online, which fueled the rumor on further.

To this, Rubys manager exclaims that Ruby and Vicki were almost as close as sisters, and had even arranged to meet while they were both in the US at one time. But because of their schedules, they could not get to ether as they hade wished. And would people STOP spreadig the lies?<>P> In fact, the rumors have been circulating even before the promotion incident. The rumor about Vicki and Ruby's dispute over the main song of QSSYMM was the cause if it all. To this, Qiong Yao announced that at first, she was going to let Sue Yu Pen and Ruby sing one of the songs together. However, because they were from different companies, the agents decided against it, for it would cause much difficulty.

To clear up the rumors, Ruby's agent has declared that the day of QSSYMM's premiere, Ruby was going to appear, whether she can put makeup to cover up her bruise or not!

My new serie has finished filming early! I can return to Twaiwan on the 27th and can participate in the promotion!" Another one is a 1930's story of Love in Beijing, with two female leads and three male leads. WHen QSSYMM has finished broadcasting, you can all give me your ideas on who should act in the series. In this story, I think I shall use the name: "Snow and Fire" for it shall be about two girls, one as cold as snow, and then another, as warm as fire...and they shall be involved with the three men in a complicated love story.
