YuPen here is surrounded by his adoring fans in HK! 10/20/99-This is the Alec's article in YES magazie #447:

Ever since the success of HZGG, Alec has been surrounded by a lot of rumors. Since Vicki paired with him as lovers on the sliver screen, even after she admitted that she's attached, fans still concluded that they're going together in his recent visit to HK to promote activities for 'YES!' as fans kept shouting Vicki's name continuously throughout the activity.

On the subject of Alec's "same father different mother" sister in the show HZGG, Ruby, even though they were not romantically linked in the show, the media still did not "let them go" because Ruby, in terms of looks and character makes it difficult to resist her. To add to it, since both have no BF/ GF, the media still puts them together.

Recently, there is yet another rumor stating that Vivien Chen is romantically linked to him. According to reports, Vivien is of some relation or something to one of the producers of JDSJ and the producer admired Alec and so decided to bring them together.

Even though Alec has denied these rumors,everyone is interested in his opinion of these girls in the rumors....

Vicki

Relationship with her : Good Friends
Opinion of her : Smart, has flair for acting. Being a newcomer, she is able to at such a young age and with such a short time of becoming famous will feel quite happy. For me, being famous once ,given another chance, I'd prefer to be a little less famous...
Opinion of her work attitude : During the filming of OHHJ , she was very happy, when there was time, we would go out and play often. During HZGG 2 there wasn't any time and she also knew this was her chance, so she worked very hard.

Opinion of her : very independent , very good character
Opinion of her work attitude : Very serious during filming. During the filming of HZGG 2, she had scenes everyday, given no time to rest, she was still very serious in her work. The place where we were filming was very cold, so her emotional scenes were very well done.

Opinion of her :At first, I thought that she was very cool, but later after knowing her better, found her quite nice.
Opinion of her work attitude :Can't say that her expectations aren't high, but she won't give herself too much stress. She's more relaxed.

Another picture of Ruby, YuPen and Zhao Wei while they were in Hong Kong. 10/3/99-Though they came to Hong Kong around the same times, Zhao Wei did not meet up with YuPen and Sin Lou til the night of the "Taiwan Charity evant." (see how content YuPen looks just sitting next to the girl he likes(is it love?)? Fans in Mainland, China wants YuPen and Zhao Wei to be a couple and the newspaper tries to link them together as much as possible there. However, fans in Twaiwan mostly want YuPen and Ruby to be a couple and are forever linking them together too.. But as for fans of Hong Kong, well, they each have their own different opinions! ****There was even a rumor saying that Zhao Wei and Ruby got in a fight over YuPen...But it is (sigh....) only a rumor!
