When Su Yupeng was in The Little Tigers, people have been saying that he would be very famous one day (make his mark). And now, he has fulfilled all these expectations. Among the three tigers, he is the best and that has a lot to do with his projected image.

Yupeng has been born with a naturally innocent face and now the matured Yupeng exudes refinement/urbaneness. When he acts in modern dramas, his dressing projects his candidness, honesty and success, he still retains a little of his "guai guai hu" (the goody tiger) feel. As for period dramas, the one role that best describes him would be "Hua Wuque" (JDSJ). This role projects his intelligence (educated), his generosity, his cold handsome looks (literal translation), his "wei xiao" (slight debonair smile) is extremely attractive! (The original "bai mei sheng" is adopted from a Tang Dynasty Poem. The whole sentence describes a strikingly beautiful lady turning her head back and smile, stunning everyone!) Whatever it is, no matter from what aspect/angle, Yupeng is very Handsome, very Cool!

Alec Su had became China, Tawian and Hong Kong top famous star: Converse is a world top athletic company. Their "Allstar classic canvas shoe" sales is awesome. Young people likes to follow their favorite idol's trend setting, beside, Alec and Converse tie could be said like "when water is here, the pipe is done".

Su Yupeng who had not released an album for the last 5 years had just completed his own personal music album. And Little Heavenly King Su Yupeng is always surfing on the World Wide Web. He laughingly said: "If I don't get on the Internet for a day, it is as if I forgot to do something!" (oohh! Same addiction as most of us, eh?) Su Yupeng likes to make friends, and now has friends from all over the world. But it is just friendship with all of them. The Virgo Su Yupeng (giggling! That sounds so effeminate...grinning! O.K. I will get back to translating...geesh! You guys might let me express all my opinions -- see I am schizophrenic as well...), his actions have also been jie shen zi ai (that means to preserve one's purity and to love one's body....screaming with laughter...oh not at Alec...at the way this reporter puts it...rolling around with mirth....gasping..).

The moralistic (actually, the direct Chinese phrase used was -- "obsessive about morals") Su Yupeng views the Internet's "one-night stands" as simply unbelievable. He unbelievable said: "How can it be? I definitely oppose it!" (Very good! Grin!: >) According to Su Yupeng's description, he feels that the one-night stands on the Internet are exactly like prostitution. He humorously/jokingly said "For prostitution, you can still choose the person but you can't even choose on the web!" (screaming with laughter....rolling around...ooohh! That is a good one BUT there is something called the Internet camera nowadays....giggling!)

Su Yupeng loves the Internet world (Me too! Me too!). He can find many fulfilling things on it...things that satisfy his philosophy/thinking to books that he likes to read. He is always on the Internet the entire night. He says, "The Internet world is just like the television realm -- very exciting!"

Su Yupeng Advertisement Tiger Covered from Head to Big Feet

Su Yupeng, a hot favourite in Mainland China has been sought by many advertisers...and these advertisements range from head to toe. His desire to film the autumn festival mooncake advertisement has caused many HK stars to be in dire shock.

Before heading to Shanghai on the 15th to film QSSYMM, Su Yupeng left for Guangzhou early to film the advertisement for Converse Sport Shoe Company. Then he will be heading down to Shanghai to film a shampoo advert and the mooncake advert.

Su Yupeng's youthful and excellent image has already prompted Converse to use him as their spokesperson. With regards to all the arrangements for the three advertisements, Su Yupeng laughingly says "I have been booked from head to feet. This is really lucky."

In HK, Su Yupeng came in first in "Qian Xi Ren Qi Ou Xiang" (Auspicious Air Idol -- whatever!) poll. He was first at any rate. He has like 300, 000 votes. Second is Xie Ting? Feng? (o.k. I am too lazy -- someone else figure this one out!) with 200, 000 odd votes. Third is Ku Tian Le (Don't know and don't care! Grin!)

As for the female stars. This is the line-up...Lin Xinru, Rong Zuer and Zhaowei.

Is it too early to film the mooncake advertisement? The director of "Lao Shangai Ruyi YueBin" heard that Su Yupeng was born during the autumn festival decided to be the first and "snatch" Su Yupeng to film this advertisement. This advertisement will be completed in April and aired in the whole of China in May.

Su Yupeng has always empathised with poor students who are unable to go to school. Hence, he decided to waive his advertisement fee and requested the Mooncake company to donate 30% of their profits (I think!) to help all these poor students. (swoon! Gosh! He is such a great person...)

After coming out as the top favorites of fans in major polls, YuPen bacame sought after by numerous companies. When he rejected the HK mineral water commercial in favour of the Taiwanese Presidential election, he attracted a Mooncake Company in Shanghai who is very impressed with his image. So, they approached him to be their spokesperson. Like I mentioned before, he waived his fee and asked that 30% of the proceeds be given to the poor students in Mainland China. The company immediately agreed.

(This is the paragraph that is slightly different from the other news article) Su Yupeng says that all these years that he has been travelling in Mainland China, he has seen many poor children/students. He empathizes with them. So now that he is given a chance to help out, he feels very happy.

Again this article is in praise of Alec...

Su Yupeng though really popular now, by deciding to film the Mooncake advertisement and giving 30% of his profits to them has shown that he has not forgotten about the poverty-stricken children.

From the singing troupe "Xiao Hu Dui" (The Little Tigers), he became an actor, Wu Ah Ge, Su Yupeng has only recently retasted fame. He has left for Guangzhou to film the Converse advertisement and will be going to Shanghai to film a shampoo advertisement...yada yada...

Then they went on to talk about his decision to waive the fee ...

Su Yupeng said that he has been in the entertainment circle for 13 years now and has travelled all over and he has seen too many poverty-stricken children in some rural parts of Mainland China. He remembered that when he was young, his family was not very well off either. So, he especially empathizes with the parents of these poor children and that's why he has decided to waive his fee (swoon! Gosh! I did choose the right person to swoon over...grin! : >)

Su Yupeng also said that after filming these three advertisements, he will be filming QY's QSSYMM. Then they will be doing some promotion come September.

Liang Chao Wei to act as the President (Hopefully)

This newspaper article said that Chen Shubian is also very keen on Tony Leung playing the older him. The director has already started negotiation talks with Tony Leung. The director had said that though he knows that Tony Leung is unable to even speak Mandarin much less Taiwanese, there is a slight problem. But he has a lot of faith in Tony Leung�s acting skills and feel that there is no Taiwan actor who can currently play Chen Shuibian as successfully as Tony Leung.

In addition, the director said that he would like either Huang Ping Yuan (who is he?) or Su Yupeng to act as the younger Chen Shuibian. As for the female lead, he will decide when all the leads have been confirmed.

There are a lot of people who are concerned about the album (the one that he has just recorded), it should be released during the vacation period (I don't know when the vacation period is in Taiwan) but the exact date has not been fixed yet..I did a rough dubbing of "White Cotton" (Bai Mian Hua) today. Well, the director has to edit it first and we can probably see the rushes a few days later..Though the director feels that the show is all right, I don't think the production company feels the same way as it is not a very commercialised (money-making) movie :P ha! ha! However, personally even if there is no influence/effect, having the (I suppose it is the director) style/manner is good enough. If you want to do a commercialised (money-spinning) movie, then you should do a television serial?? I think I might do a sports shoe commercial, (qing dai jia ying -- I have no idea what brand of shoe that is�someone else do this part!)..In addition, I am also arranging/negotiating with a HK mobile telephone to do a commercial for them. It seems that they will also be airing this commercial in Mainland China but let's not get our hopes just yet as this is just in the initial stages..As for when I will be going to Shanghai to film YYMM, I have absolutely no idea. I think it is probably within these couple of days, because QY is very famous, to get those license/permits invoke a lot of attention and it is a little troublesome. If there are no troubles, we can start filming in April . . . . I have to go sweep the grave (pay respects to a dead person at his tomb) early in the morning, Goodnight : ) Yupeng

Yu Peng (Alec) work really hard finish recording his Mardrain Album in Taiwan. YYMM is still awaiting to be film, but now he is working really hard to keep fit:) (really busy doing excercises) because he have sign a contact to do a photo shoot in Australia to be shoot in May (around May)

He is keep fit so that he can look his best in the photo shoot:), he also emphasise that photo shoot will NOT contain any nudity in it:), he is keeping fit because he wants to see the good affect even with his clothes on:)

I think that most of your questions exist, I am hoping that when YYMM hits the screen in HK, there will be a great publicity event and hopefully I will not miss this opportunity la....

While with regards to this period of time where I will be filming, it is like an investment period for me, I think. Ha! Ha! Unless something gossipy arises :P .... So, worrying is not going to solve anything...the only thing we can do is to act well and produce a spectacular show. Hopefully, you guys will like the character that I am going to portray. By pulling together all my ability, advertisements, music albums -- it would be a wonderful concerted effort!!! So la, it is worthwhile waiting. We must still do our job properly...this is the most basic principle!!! Let's work hard together : ) yupeng...

With regards to that newspaper report, ha! Ha! I don't even remember about it anymore. But I think I am not that good right??!??? Ha! ha! ha! ha! The manner in which the report is written also makes me want to cry!!! Ha! Ha! Ha! Joking la!

But when I am working, I don't like to be disturbed especially when I am filming so I think that when he saw me at that time, I was probably not filming anything or else I would have told me "Don't disturb me, I am working!!!" :P Yupeng...

Basically, this article in YES IDOL #186 talks about Alec's feelings toward Leo Ku in the filming of YYMM.

In the article, Alec says that he is looking forward to working with Leo Ku as both of them never had the chance to work together before. As for Vicki and Ruby, they have all worked well before, so he is definitely happy about that. He also said that together the four of them will bring some surprises to all the viewers....(hmmm...surprises?!!??)

Alec also said that the thing that thrills him the most about filming QSSYMM is its location -- Shanghai. He still shudders when he thinks about HZGG where they had to film in freezing temperature (so cold that even your reactions to things becomes spastic ---squealing with laughter). So, this time in a slightly warmer Shanghai, life would not be so harsh and everyone on the set is really happy about that...

But the most important point to Alec is that QSSYMM is not a period drama. Evidently, he doesn't like to shave his head, put on the wig and wear tons of make-up (totally understandable but he looks so cute as Yongqi...sigh!)

The reporter of this piece ended the article by commenting on Alec's fears about shaving his head, "that Yupeng need not be afraid, young people's hair will grow back quickly" (laughing!...)

Little Heavenly King, Su Yupeng was a hardworking, excellent-results-producing student. But owing to his severe shortsightedness, he was pegged as a "nerd". To make matters worse, when he was young, he was also called "Fatty" (Huh? That is like totally impossible...what happened to him now???? -- maybe he should market the recipe for slimming...I think he will make become an overnight billionaire...but I digress again...screaming with laughter). Anyhow, because of these two "qualities" (nerd and fatty), the girls don't like him (they must be eating their hats right now...laughing), even his male classmates make fun of him...in other words, he did not find much friendship (oh...poor thing! I will be his friend...giggling! Hey! I think everyone here would want to be his friend, eh?....I know! I know! I am digressing again...)

This is what Alec said: " After reading "The Frog Prince", I felt very encouraged. I thought to myself then that I will strive hard in the future so that people will change their perception of me." (I think he has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams, eh? Grin! Good for him!)

That is why when Su Yupeng meets up with students in his tours round schools or open air concerts, he will always tell everyone about "The Frog Prince" and relate his personal experience. He will use this as a form of encouragement and motivation -- that if you persevere you could always change from a frog to a prince (O.K. all of you out there who ever made fun of the "nerds" and the "fatties", be warned...they could become your next Alec Su -- so be nice, be very nice!!!!!
